The Ten Commandments

• I am the Lord, your God. You shall not have strange Gods before me.
• You shall not take the name of the Lord, your God in vain.
• Remember to keep holy the Lord's day.
• Honor your father and mother.
• You shall not kill.
• Your shall not commit adultery.
• You shall not steal.
• You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor
• You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.
• You shall not covet your neighbor's goods.

The Beatitudes

• Blessed are the poor in spirit, the kingdom of heaven is theirs.
• Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.
• Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the land.
• Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
• Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
• Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.
• Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
• Blessed are those who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
• Blessed are you when you are reviled and persecuted and men utter every kind of evil against you falsely. Rejoice and be glad for your reward in heaven will be great.

Monument of the Ten Commandments

A monument of the Ten Commandments has been erected in front of the church. On November 25, 2006 it was dedicated and blessed following the Saturday morning mass. Thank you to the Knights of Columbus for promoting the placement of these monuments in parishes throughout the country, and thanks to our special donor for making it financially feasible. May all of us be great witnesses to our faith by adhering to them.
