Elizabeth Ministry Special Delivery

The Elizabeth Ministry mission is to cherish children, encourage families and build community. It offers support, mentoring, educational materials, spiritual nourishment and inspirational resource. This committee also provides a home-cooked meal to be prepared and delivered to the home of a family who has just brought home a new baby, someone recently home from the hospital and/or coping with an illness or injury, or the family of a recently deceased parishioner.

St. Bernard Church ~ 1617 West Pine Street ~ Appleton, WI

This is for anyone who has lost a child, no matter how long ago. This service is open to people of all faiths. Call or send your child’s name to the Church Office, 739-0331, to be included in the “Tree of Light” Ceremony. Everyone who attends will receive an ornament to take home and have their child’s name placed on a permanent memorial plaque and on a remembrance wreath. This event is sponsored by St. Bernard’s Parish Elizabeth Ministry, Sacred Heart, St. Mary of Greenville, and St. Therese.
