Loaves & Fishes of the Fox Valley, Inc. is an outreach of the Social Ministry Committee of St. Pius X Parish. Our volunteers prepare and serve the evening meal at the Emergency Shelter in Appleton every day of the year. Loaves & Fishes also provides a Community Meal for anyone in the valley who is hungry or alone. The community meal is served on Monday nights from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church located at 209 South Allen Street, Appleton.
We serve approximately 68-100 individuals including about 10 children between the ages of 12 months and 9 years of age. We are in need of home baked desserts for our evening meals. If you are interested in volunteering, we ask you to prepare a dessert for at least 10 people. Please place all desserts in a disposable container. WE also ask that all desserts be freezable. You may deliver the desserts to the Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday any time after 3:00 p.m. You may enter the church from the back parking lot.
