Ministry of
Visitation to the Sick
and
Eucharistic Ministry to the Sick
This ministry involves visiting the sick in hospitals or nursing homes, and when parish members are homebound. Time commitment is one hour a week or every other week.
Deacon Rick Simon will train and journey with you until the you feel comfortable and prepared to serve our community members who are sick. It’s a beautiful ministry to bring the love and healing of Jesus to our brothers and sisters who are in need.
At this time we are in need of volunteers to bring communion to patients at AMC hospital, once a week. You can also sign up to be a substitute. Deacon Rick and Sister Ruth, the Chaplain at AMC will train.
