St. Pius X Pre-School Program

The St. Pius X Pre-school program strives to develop a positive self-image in the children by helping them to develop socially, physically, emotionally, intellectually and spiritually. Concepts reflecting Christian attitudes and values are taught daily. Play time is at the heart of the pre-school program. Children play to learn. The program offers morning and afternoon sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for four and five year old students, as well as Tuesday and Thursday mornings for three to four year old children.

Curriculum

Play is the core of your child’s leaning and the heart of our pre-school program. Daily, the children participate with free choice, planned learning activities and various socialization experiences. These provide opportunities to develop new friendships and explore large and small gross motor skill development, creative expression and explore ideas. Our classroom is child oriented, providing spacious environment and areas for prayer, learning center, computer, stories, dramatic play, blocks, art, sand and water.

2 Day Program (ages 3-4)

Tuesday/Thursday

Morning: 8:25 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

3 Day Program (ages 4-5)

Monday/Wednesday/Friday

Morning: 8:25 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Afternoon: 12:25 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
