Thank you for your generous service to the Lord and St. Pius X parish.

If you have any questions, please call Deacon Rick at 733-0575.

They can help answer your questions.

If you are unable to make your scheduled time, please contact a substitute.

It is your responsibility and duty as a server to do so if you cannot make it.

Things A Server Should Remember:

• You are a prayer leader. The assembly should be able to watch you and know what to do by what you do.
• Be aware of when to stand, sit, or kneel.
• Say the prayers & sing the songs.
• You are essential to the celebration of the mass. Yes, it does matter if you are here.
• You are the first minister to the priest next to the deacon.
• Always walk slow and reverently in the church
• Fold your hands when standing or walking.
• Stand up/sit up straight. Don’t slouch or cross your legs. When sitting, place your hands on your lap.
• Stay awake and alert! You never know when the priest will need something from you.
• Eat breakfast and drink juice before serving. This will reduce the chances of you becoming ill.
