There are two committees that form the Worship Committee:
St. Pius X Liturgy Planning Committee and the Art and Environment Committee
St. Pius X Liturgy Planning Committee meets approximately once a month during the school year. It develops themes for the seasons of the church year, and ways it implements those themes during Mass. Members write opening greeting and petitions for Sunday liturgy. Many resources and workshops are available as well as personal assistance from other members. Ideal committee members enjoy writing, have ideas for bringing the liturgy alive, and are willing to learn.
The Art and Environment Committee uses themes developed by the Liturgy Planning Committee to decorate the church. Resources and workshops are available. Members meet as needed to plan and complete the decorating of the worship space. The ideal committee member is creative in visualizing and arranging. Persons interested in plant care, flower arranging, or just who just enjoys creating a beautiful worship environment are encouraged to join.
