What is a Young Adult?
Anyone who is 18 years of age through their 30s is welcome to join us for activities and talks directed towards this age group. We have a Bible study that meets Mondays at 7 p.m. to follow the “Great Adventure” put together by Jeff Cavins. Other groups may form soon! The Appleton parishes have also started a new program called “Eat, Drink, and Be Catholic!” The first event, featuring Fr. Tom Long and Sister Mary Ann Spanjers, brought about 40 young adults together to Anduzzi’s in downtown Appleton to discuss “Recognizing God’s Plan for Your Life.” These evenings will continue monthly. Other opportunities include a young mom’s group, a Theology of the Body study, and social activities. July will, of course, bring back “Theology on Tap,” a summer speaker and discussion series.
