The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a worldwide lay organization of Christian men and women. The aim of the SVDP is to bring social justice and the friendship of true charity to all those in need. SVDP subscribes to the Vincentian practice of giving without regard to creed, opinion, color, origin or caste. It respects the dignity of the poor--in the poor seeing Christ.
